Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) is a form of Martial Arts that focuses on grappling with emphasis on ground self-defense. There is no hitting, punching or striking. BJJ helps alleviate the advantage of larger or stronger opponents by using wrestling/grappling techniques. The skills taught are used to control a resisting opponent in ways that force them to submit (also known as "tapping out")
BJJ is great for both children ages 6+ as well as adults of all ages and genders!
